I got the mc 09 a few days ago now, and I can't make head nor tale of ther bloody manual. Is there anyone in the Yorkshire area (UK) who'd be willing to give up an hour to come help me in a workshop stylee. I'll slip you £20 quid of course.
I might just be thick.......who knows.
Peace.

These are hard questions to answer.First off, once you use this machine CORRECTLY ,you will recieve very, very favorable results. It gets a lot of bad credit from people who just cant seem to get in the groove of what its true nature really is. All i can say is tweak, tweak ,TWEAK your way into industrial / electronica bliss like i do, and then you to will understand. Check out my demos on it at ACID PLANET.com My project name is ULTRAFIX and its listed under the genre (industrial / industrial electronica). So please do check these out , and fell free to leave any direct questions to me in the review section at acid planet. Thanks

Turn down your cuttoff, raise your resonance (as you previously mentioned). Now hold down shift and press the 1st or 2nd keyboard pads. (pads 1-16 will light up) Start tweaking with those parameters now with the up and down keys that you would usually switch patterns with. start messing with different Lfo and filter settings. By the way, i absolutely love this machine and i think you will too givin a little time. hope it helped, Escape Theory

Since I am used to using Rebirth and other emulators similar to the TB-303 but there is no up and down on the MC-09. I also have a typed pattern for a song to be used for the 303 but I cannot understand how to use it on the MC-09.
I would also like to ask, whether it is possible to create a song instead of short loops.
Thanks.

"select bass then hold shift & pad 16 to turn vintage mode on! "-from sonic state
this should be of some use if you havent found it already.
